Here is an authentic simulation of the German Enigma cipher machine used during World War II. This is the
4-rotor Kriegsmarine M4 model, used by submarines from 02/02/1942. This was called SHARK at Bletchley Park.
To encipher a message tap the keys in the lower part of the machine one by one (not too quickly so the rotors
have time to turn). For each key tapped, the enciphered letter will light up (middle part of the machine). Be ready
to note down each letter as soon as it lights up: it will only stay lit for half a second!
To decrypt a message, just type in the encrypted message with the same initial machine settings used when
it was encrypted: Enigma is reversible! Have fun!
